I am very proud of my web site called www.wordscanhelp.co.uk

This site, that I wrote and put on the internet in March of 2006, was written in an attempt to help persons in the period following the loss of a loved one, and, in an attempt to explain to family and friends the actions of the bereaved person.

There are no advertisements on the site, and, there is nothing to buy. It is neither for or against anything.

It is now 28 weeks since the site commenced and has had over 7,500 hits from nearly every country in the world.

It is a private site that I had to pay for, as, of course, I did require control of the site as many advertisers would not consider the content of the site they were advertising on a free site.

I have been suprised at the actions of many sites dealing with the same subject, when I have tried to mention wordscanhelp. I know that they are their sites, but, I am not trying to "steal" visitors, I do not stand to gain anything financially, the site is a genuine attempt to help.

There have been sites such as www.blueindigo www.beyondblue and www.webmd that have welcomed me, www.eastrenfrewshire has given www.wordscanhelp a link from its site, and www.spiraluniverse a christian site, but, a site that welcomes all and is prepared to debate any issue that you care to suggest has a link to wordscanhelp, To all of these, I can only say, thankyou very much.

Visited Scotland when I was 21, stayed, of course there was a lady involved, live in a small town just south of Glasgow, yep, I married that lady. Three sons and six grandchildren, lost that lady in 2003.

Music, I sang for my living many years ago, like country music, Willie Nelson type, traditional jazz, The Mavericks, ( is that called Tex-Mex ). I like poetry, watercolour painting, photography, gardening. and music. I spend far too many hours sitting at the computer. Water colour painting, I'm not very good. Playing with digital photography on the computer. Gardening, but not cutting hedges.
- Expertise: To be honest, none. I can cook a good meal, and, nearly iron a shirt properly. I do have a view on everything, who needs experts, anyway, what is an expert?.
