Further down the page on this blog, and, I hope that you will take the trouble to go there, you will read about my website, wordscanhelp.
After the death of my wife, Sarah, I "travelled" through the pain that follows the loss of a loved one, it was only later that I discovered that my feelings and actions were normal, and, I was being normal.
My website, that is private and anonymous, has no advertising, and nothing to sell or buy, welcomes all that are suffering the pain after their loss, and, attempts to show that most things are normal reactions. The other main reason is an attempt to let family and friends understand the actions of the bereaved person.
Whilst there is no "normal" period for, what amounts to, this depression, extended periods, up to several years, do occur, and, can be very harmfull.
May I recommend a site that that can be very helpfull to anyone with this long time depression. You would be very welcome to visit www.beyondindigo.com where you can find the experienced counsellors that will do all in their power to help. beyondindigo is free to join and are fully experienced in persons grieving for up to ten years and more.
