I am not a "con"man, what a sad world.
I have just received an e-mail, "stop posting this sh*t, you'r a con man, consider other peoples feelings"
This was in reply to an advert that I put on a "items for free" forum of the gumtree site.
My offer was, "free memorium on internet". Now, I do have a website, www.wordscanhelp.co.uk the site was written by myself based on my experience after the loss of my wife Sarah. I paid for the site, there are no advertisements, nothing to buy or sell, I have never made any money out of this site, it is totally anonymous and no data on visitors is collected.
My reasoning behind the offer was, anyone looking at the "free" items on gumtree presumably can not afford things that other persons may be able to, memoriums, specially in local newspapers are very expensive, and last for one day, a permanent memorium that can be visited via the internet, even if the visitor can only get free use of the computer at the local library, it costs them nothing, costs me a little time, but, may be of help.
I am well aware that very many of the items that appear on the internet are, to put it bluntly, scams, and whilst I believe that we should all be extremely careful, has the world come to the point that nobody is to believed, what a sad state of affairs.
