Built in obsolescence, now its cardboard!!!!.

What is it with this modern world when basic materials are produced that can not last for even twenty days?,

After my annual journey to the store on december 17th, and returning home, I examined the cardboard box, let me say, here and now, I considered it perfect, and it was. A perfect example of the manufactures, design, art, and, skill. To put it simply, I was delighted.

 Twelfth night, christmas is over, time to remove the lights from around the tree, no problem thus far, 120 little bulbs that had encharnted the passers bye and never failed through gale force winds and driving rain.

Now, if those christmas decorations had lived up to expectation, as they surely had, why did the cardboard container that they had arrived in shrink during the same period, it didn't even have to face the inclement weather, it was warm and dry on top of the wardrobe.

120 little bulbs and the wire to which they are attached are back in the box, but, hanging over the side, are, the transformer and the little gadget that make them twinkle, and there is no more space, WHY?.

Modern cardboard shrinks.
