Gays and the catholic church.
I am not a member of the catholic church. I am not gay.
The catholic church in britain says, "will not help gay couples to adopt one of their "adoptee" children". The gay groups say, "that this is in contravention of their human rights".
A union between two "same sex" persons can not create the birth of a child, therefore, it is not a "right" that same sex partnerships can expect, but, it is a "right" that, if others can adopt a child, if they are excluded from this right, then, this is against their human rights.
The catholic church is a group of persons that have decided on their reasons for becoming a group, and, have, presumably, a written constitution that confirms the aims and desires of that group. Only those persons that do agree with the terms of the constitution would wish to join this group, therefore, should you not agree, you would naturally join a different group that had a constitution with which you agreed.
The catholic church has said, "will guide same sex couples to an adoption agency that will help", but, admit that they will assist and allow an adoption to go ahead with a "single" gay person, who, presumably, would be O.K. to be in a relationship after the adoption.
Is the gay community just trying to stir up something, to cause a problem where none exists at present as they are able to adopt from other agency's.
The Bill of European human rights is to blame, can common sense prevail?.
I don't know the answers to any of these questions, and, I would like to know your point of view.
