Global warming started about 25 years ago. It was about that time that the Japanese introduced the little gadget that allowed us to change channels on our television sets without getting up from the armchair, actually, I had always had one, it was called "the wife".

Bones of Christ.
Recent newspaper articles about the discovery of the burial place of Jesus are very interesting. If we ignore the possibility of the whole thing being a fake, and we are all well aware of the many "fakes" that turn up, and, accept that, these are the remains of a man named Jesus, and accept, that this is the Jesus that is written about in The Bible, I strongly disagree with the many that have said, "This is the end of Christianity". Do "christians" really have to believe, that, Jesus rose from the dead and his actual body ascended to Heaven?. For me, should the burial place and remains be proved to be those of this man that is spoken of in the bible, and I think that this will be impossible to do, it would add strength to my acceptance of Jesus, a man that set down the rules for living a decent life, and, isn't that what being a "christian" means.

I have just read an interesting story in my newspaper. It would appear that, legally, under some existing regulations, that the Villajoyosa council, that's in the Costa Blanca area of Spain, can decide to "develop" land even if the residents have lived there for up to 30 years, and this site is requires for "affordable housing".
