Comic Relief.

I have been watching the television this evening, a show that's on for about seven hours, desperately trying to raise a few million for those that need help, especially Africa.

I have now turned the television off, I can't watch the pictures of those  dying from aids and malnutrition, hospitals without drugs, villages without sanitation, babies and children suffering.

A couple of days ago the government announced that the 2012 Olympics in London would cost about 9 billion pounds, yes, 9 billion pounds for a sporting competition.

Wouldn't it be great if, all those country's that intend to enter the 2012 Olympics, decided that instead of an Olympic games in 2012, all of the money was put together and used to help those that really needed the help, to provide medicine, sanitation, food, education, etc.

The record books for ever would show that on just one occasion, humanity was more important than sport.
