What do you know about footbal (soccer) ?.
Me?, I know nothing about it, so I have decided that this blog entry will be about it. You know, that's me, I have an opinion on everything.
What I don't understand is, why do goalkeepers kick the ball way up the field, often as not, to an opposition player, why not just pass the ball to your own player and let him/her, (got to be P.C.) just take it up the field?.
Why, at a free kick do you get as many as three players standing behind the ball trying to kid their opponents on who is going to take it?, to my mind that is just wasting a couple of players who could be in a position where they can score a goal.
Why do referees allow all that pushing and holding in the penalty area when a corner kick is being taken?.
When players fall down during the game after a challenge and roll about in agony, shouldn't they be taken off the pitch for 5 mins either to treat the cause of their agony, or, to make them sit out for their play acting?.
Why do so many games end in a score of 1-0, if you are losing surely the team should throw all caution to the wind and go for a goal, it doesn't matter if you loose 3, 5, 7 or 9-0, if you loose you don't get any points, you end up bottom of the league, and goal difference will not matter?.
Any help in answering these questions will be appreciated.
